Diwali Report

This week and for the next two weeks, we have been set a literacy task, Celebrations and Festivals 2020 heres my work I choose to do a three set task, 

Diwali is known as a Indian festival of lights,

Diwali is celebrated between mid October and mid september .

It also lasts for five days .

Diwali is one of the most famous hindu festivals.

Diwali also symbolizes spiritual and victoral of light over darkness

and good over devil and also knowledge over ignorance .

Diwali Clean their houses and where they work, they also put lamps everywhere.  

Diwali is the goddess of wealth and prosperity,

in some part of the country, it marks the celebration of the day Lord Rama returned to his kingdom.

Diwali is a festival of lights, what people do at the festival they put on their best clothes.

I think have done well if i have made any mistakes please tell me :)

My Country Brochure

  This week we for Literacy we have been focusing on geography and Countries I choose a Italy, once you have chosen your country you have to write facts about it .  My favorite part about writing the country for Italy was the Blue Grotto, I think for this work I could of add more detail and make it interesting . 

Term 3 Ako Reflection

This is my literacy work based on bugs !
for literacy we had been gaven a topic from the teachers, we got insects and bugs, I choose bug menus for this topic the reason why I choose bug menu is, because it made me interested and sounded interesting . I knew how to do a bug menu all I did was thinking about bugs then thought about some food that people like, then I tried to use my imagination and tried making the bugs into a order with yummy food . I really like why my work is good because. It has bright colors to make people read my menu and make them interested. I  tried to use really good imagination in it and tried making it really interesting "EW' who would want to eat bee's and bed bug stir fry, I would rather eat a bee then that yuck food .



















Maths
This is my maths work based on prototec !
every morning for math we do prototec, what protoec is it's a online basic facts instead of using paper basic facts, on basic facts there is 9 stages . I started off as stage 6 and it was pretty easy I had to do anything that would equal up to 100 and anything take away from 100, also times tables and divided by  I really am proud of my self because I started off low then I asked a teacher about the stuff I  completely didn't know and now im really good at it, I might get told to go up on stage 8 . What I could work on for prototec is percentages, roots and factors . 

This is my calendar art !

This is my art work. A few weeks ago we did art, what I wanted to draw was a koala. I did ok but it's not the best, this art work took me a few days to do but I really enjoyed learning about the art . This was quite difficult to do  using pastels to match the koalas fur. I found that smudging the pastel got me quite close to the texture of the koala's fur, I interestingly enough I discovered that koalas can only have blue or brown eyes . 

Colour Wheel

This Week and next week, we are going to be focusing on Brands, one of the topics I have done is colour wheel, we had to make a google drawing and do a colour wheel . I think I could I have done enough, please add a comment what I could have done better .

Insects and bugs

Last week and this week we have been focusing on Incest and bugs, I have done Bugs menu like we were in a cafe, I really like my idea then we had to add how much money it is, I think i could of added more detail, please tell me what I could of done better

70 Invention

 This Week and Last week we have been dong 70ś we have tiny topics about the 70ś out of the topics, I choose inventions .  The inventions I done was this, we had to do then vs now, I enjoyed doing this topic but I dont think i need to add anything . I enjoyed do the 70ś for the past two weeks, 70ś is funky and old fashion I did learn stuff anout the 70ś   . 

70's outfit

This week and last week of literacy we got a topic called the 70's we had little topics of the 70's I made a 70's outift, for the 70's outfit I choose tie dye tee shirt and overals, because it is the most ommon clothes in the 70's.  I think I could of done better by adding arms, please comment feedback .

90 Then Vs Now

 This is My slideshow of the Then vs now of the 90´s, Last week and this week we have been focused on the 90´s for on the 90s I done Music, Have a look in the slides to see what I have done, I think I could of done better by adding more detail .

90 Toys

 In This week and last week of the 90's I choose one of the activities, toys we had to get information of 90 toys, heres my slide about 90 toys, I think I could of done better by making it more interesting, Please give me feedback.

90's Outfit

This week and next week we have been chosen to do the 90's, What i mean by the 90's is we do literacy, for one of our topics i choose mine for a 90s outfit, first we had to do a photo of yourselves then get people who were born in the 90's and make like we were with mine. I think I could of done better by making it look more real .

Myth Cycolops

In Myths and Gods I choose to do the myth of Cyclops, we made some facts about Cyclops, I hope my google drawing of Cyclops teached  you some facts, I think i could have done better by adding more facts on my drawing.

Y Chart

This week of Literacy we have been focused on Myths and Gods, This is my Y chart of our settings, Our settings is what it looks, feels and sounds like, before I made this Y chart our literacy class watched a little movie, about the movie was called Ocean Maker, then we had to pretend we were in the movie and be what it was. I think i have done well and could of added a bit more detail.

 This week of Literacy we have been focused on Myths and Gods, This is my Venn diagram of Characters an settings, Characters and setting is where we have to make a Character and tell you guys what my character look like. The settings is what is in the background, in the middle is where they both have the same content,  I think I have done well but I could of added more detail in the settings .

I have learnt a lot about solar system like 

Uranus is made out of Gas, Helium, Ice rock, Watery surface, Jovian planets, Helium, Hydrogen, ice giants, water and ice rocks. Did you know that Uranus rotates on the side ! pretty cool.
