Attribute Organiser

 Kia Ora,This week in Literacy we have to do the topic of Countries and Continents . We chose what task we would like to work on and I chose this as it was compulsory, We had to research the different continents and find out about the different . We had to find out a few countries in the continents, an ocean or sea surrounding it, an mountain and some cool facts about it and a very cool picture of the place .                                                                        

While I did my attribute organizer we had to only put notes, I didn't make any errors but what I could of done better on my Attribute Organizer  is add more to make it sound interesting . Please comment what I could do better Thanks !

WALT: write a quality blog posts by using my ¨Smart Learner¨ 

This week and the  last two weeks,one of our literacy themes was Strange and Wonderful Animals, we got to choose which topic we want to learn about them, My chosen task was an Attribute orginaiser . This was around facts of Animals such as the Naked Mole rat, Goblin Shark, Shoe bill, Naked cat and Tasmanian devils . I researched there habitats,like what they eat and facts about them. By researching these animals and what they do I am pretty confident  now  to know everything about them. what I think I can improve next time is to make the reader intersestd of what I am writing, as I am writing this I know that instead of asking my teacher for some infomation, I can always ask another student or help them out if needed, Please can you give me some feedback that I could improve on . 

The Mind-Body Connections- Brochure

WALT: write a quality blog post using the ‘Smart Learner’ writing criteria.

Last term one of our Literacy themes was It's All In Your Mind. We get to choose which activities we would like to do and I chose to do this activity which was based around The Mind-Body Connections, Like: The outside flap of a brochure, the back of the brochure, the front,the inside flap and the inside of the brochure. I needed to figure out by researching, which of these helped me to answer my questions. If you would like to see what our tasks are, you can go to our Teams Google Site .

For this activity, I was Supposed to research on how to control 

stress. I did not need to research every question down, as I knew most of it I had to write a lot of information down. I worked with someone instead of going to a teacher for some information as my teacher was busy . Next time I need to make sure that I put more effort and time in and do the research myself without someone's help. Doing this activity helped me learn about the difference to help control stress and I can still remember what each of them are now .

Stress Brochure.

Create your own word find

 Kia Ora team, last week for literacy I have been focusing on creating your own word find about the body system. This word find took about 15 minutes to work on, for the word find I had googled parts of the body and typed them on to a google template. I enjoyed making this word find even though it was stressful, Once I had finished my work I copied the link and uploaded it to our kotuku google sheet so my Kaiako could mark it. Label the brain

 Kia Ora everyone, today for literacy I have been focusing on label the brain I had to match labels from parts of the brain and connect them together .  It took me about 5 minutes to make then I had to copy the link and upload it to the google sheet so my kaiako can mark it, Labeling the brain was quite fun working on .  The big bold text is the title and the words are outside of the humans brain is where the parts are in color .

Kia Ora team, This week and Last week for literacy we had Americas Cup, I choose to do AC 75 boat I made an infographics poster, I had to get a photo of the boat and put it in the middle and then I had to put how long it is and how many crew and the max weight .  Here is my peace of work, I really enjoyed doing this I think I could of added more work to it, like more information to it Please tell me what I could of done better thank you :)
